12don't mind some art on say the side of a building that otherwise looks equally crap but agree that the majority of the little sods should be made to scrub off what they spray on.
The offenders should be hung drawn and quartered, after they have been forced to use their own tongue as a scouring pad with the assistance of Jays Fluid to clean and remove the crap they put up...
Bunch of drug induced wasters who should wake up smell the coffee and start paying tax for the first time in their lives... Shoot the lot
Not a Banksy fan then?
mmmmm not sure this is terribly constructive!
Are you sexually frustrated?
Take it easy dude!!!
Street Art is often the expression of those at 'sharp end' of society. It clearly demonstrates their abilities, creativity and vision - and should be supported at every turn - until it becomes socially unacceptable - i.e. playing loud music in the street, putting graffiti on prominent places.
picture of a homeless guy holding sign saying "keep your coins .. i want change." its that kind of art that i like. art with a message.cheek out mi pic if u wana see that tag
That's quite cool yeah.. But I didn't quite get the message behind it?
play on words - change as in social change and change as in money ...
I like the guy near me with a sign saying "THE BIG TISSUE" - selling little packs of tissues ...
perhaps they were trying to create a volks(wagon)onomy ...
I will get my coat :)
If no one is around to see it, is the elephant still painted :)
Elephants aside, I think street art has its place - its pretty annoying when someone "tags" your car though!
Does painting an elephant count as street art? I spose it would depend on where the elephant was at the time :)
Depends if it has pretty girls in it :)
it makes me notice walls more
depends upon the street art - if it has a social or thoughtful theme to it or not.
hello
hello

of course it does. but what exactly is art? who gets to decide? if it's a real attempt at a pretty tag, or a magnificent banksy political attack then yes, celebrate the individual, dance in colourful diversity and poke our tongues out at convention. but if it's a crappy aggressive squiggle that looks like nothing then make the little offender print it on a card and give it to the one they love as a representation of all they are. and then they'll look as silly as the bench that they squiggled on.
