Does speaking to a foreign call centre drive you crazy?
ref #112
It's bad enough having to call a customer service centre and holding on for ages in the first place but then having to speak to someone who does not have your language as their first language and who usually hasn't got a clue what you are talking about is extremely frustrating

7It does drive me crazy but in 5 years time, foreign call centers will be so good at their job that you won't know they're in another country.
yeah, and in 10 that term 'foriegn' will include computer operated and answered
How the hell can someone who doesn't
fully understand my language try to help me with problems. It drives me nuts.
Why the hell should I have to speak to someone about my personal business who has absolutley no comprehension of anything to do with the UK. Christ, half of them are illiterate and the other half are just stupid. Plus they put you on that auto call back thing and your doomed....
It's a bit annoying but it doesn't bother me too much. I do find it quite amusing that one of the only jobs where the ability to communicate easily is paramount is outsourced to non english speaking countries LOL. Surely they would be better off outsourcing the non customer facing stuff ...
