Do you think people are really getting that much smarter in the 'developed' world because of computers and technology?? - I dont think so, I think the educational gap is decreasing.

This depends on the country. Not all 'developing' countries are the same. There are vast differences between the technological development levels of countries in Asia and Latin America, compared to those in Africa. However, on the whole, I would say that the educational gap is not widening but decreasing all over the world.

I agree, India is a good example - the skills gap between the rich and the poor is huge. If you have the money then you can obtain the exact same skills as someone from a "developed" country.

I think its more a case of the gap widening between the rich and the poor within those countries - Coming from a developing country, if you can afford the tech you can compete on a level playing field with someone from a "developed" nation

no, i don't think it is - as technology is brining people together and allowing a transfer of skills and knowledge. Anyway, we all know that we can't spell!
